Kahului Airport Terminals

Kahului, or Maui Airport, consists of a couple of passenger terminals. Those, serve both inter-islands and overseas services thanks to its two runways.

 

 

Transfer between terminals

The terminals are united through the centre by their security checkpoints. In that sense, both are located within the same terminal building.

 

 

Kahului Airport Master Plan

Kahului Airport is nowadays undergoing major redevelopments to modernize and expand its facilities to reconvert it into an international airport, since is the second busiest airport in the state of Hawaii.

The Overseas Terminal, otherwise called the Main Terminal, is the one for major international services not only to the US, also to further destinations worldwide.

The Commuter Terminal, also called the Inter-Island Terminal, only serves domestic flights within islands.

Please note that the Commuter Terminal is currently served by a couple of airlines: Makani Kai and Mokulele Express.
